| Kent School District Kent School District provides paid training for eligible bus driver candidates hired as Bus
Driver Trainees. The temporary employee rate is $17.13 per hour, with a training maximum of 200 hours. Upon completion
of training, the trainee may be offered a continuing position as a regular or substitute bus driver. The substitute bus
driver will fill in for absent employees as needed. The duties will be to safely transport students to and from school
