Rigger Helper

About the Role

Rigger Helper The Rigger Helper will assist Journeyman Rigger in preparation, installation and operation of rigging gear

and equipment such as slings, chokers chains, hoists and come along; prepares components for lifting by cranes, forklift

or similar operated lifting equipment. This position requires travel. Inspects work site to determine presence of

obstructions with respect to proper installation and operation of rigging gear and equipment including ground

conditions, load attachment points, overhead and perimeter clearances and "line of fire" clearances and plans sequence

of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. Inspects rigging gear and equipment
